Kazahaya-no-sato wisteria (late April - early May)

mie_chunansei_haru_natsu_hana02_processing

Visitors can enjoy 10 kinds of wisteria: "Shirokohitan wisteria," "Shikohitan wisteria," "Beni wisteria," "Kuchiben wisteria," "Rokushaku wisteria," "Kuushaku wisteria," "Nagasaki Issai wisteria," "Yae Kuroryu wisteria," "Kuroryu wisteria" and "Hakunoda wisteria.

The wisteria trellises cover an area of about 3,000 tsubo (about 7,000 square meters) and the standing trees in the park cover an area of about 16,500 tsubo (about 1,000 square meters), and four types of wisteria trellises (Nagasaki Issai, Honben, Kuushaku, and Kuroryu) look like the Northern Lights, making you want to take pictures of them.

In 2023, the wisteria festival was held from April 15 to May 7!

When the main wisteria trellis is at its best, the gradation is spectacular! Another attraction of this place is that you can take pictures as if you are playing with the long weeping wisteria flowers. Don't miss the flower water.

Kazahaya no Sato hydrangea (early June to late July)

mie_chunansei_haru_natsu_hana04 (1)

A total of 35 varieties of hydrangeas, including six varieties that can only be seen in Kazahaya-no-sato (Selma, Sharona, Celina, Sandra, Sabrina, and Soraya), will color the designed hydrangea beds and the 33,000 m2 large slope.

mie_chunansei_haru_natsu_hana05 (1)

It may be fun to take a closer look at unusual varieties of hydrangeas and look for differences.

Last year, they held the Hydrangea Festival from June 2 to July 17.

Visitors can enjoy a large amount of hydrangeas and rare varieties of hydrangeas on a large site. Although not limited to this season, cosplay is allowed, and one of the things to look forward to is the chance to meet cosplayers at the right time.

Nakamura
This is a great spot to take a leisurely stroll and view and photograph the hydrangeas. The grounds vary in height from area to area, so I was able to enjoy a dynamic view of the entire area from high up and from low down. There is also a dog run, so I thought it would be nice to enjoy taking pictures of the hydrangea with my dog.

Ruins of Matsuzaka Castle (Matsusaka Park), Matsusaka City / wisteria

The magnificent stonewalls that remain today, such as those piled up in the field, are a symbolic presence of Matsusaka.

In addition to cherry blossoms, wisteria and gingko trees decorate this stone wall.

Ruins of Matsuzaka Castle (Matsusaka Park) Wisteria (late April - early May)

mie_chunansei_haru_natsu_hana08

One wisteria tree, estimated to be more than 300 years old, covers a 5-meter-long wisteria trellis, and when it is in full bloom, its 60-centimeter clusters are in full beauty.

It is good to view the wisteria with the magnificent stone walls in the background, but we recommend enjoying the wisteria with the panoramic view of the city of Matsusaka.

As of May 2023, Matsusaka is running an Instagram-based photo campaign, which will run from April 20 to May 31, 2023.

Please check Wakuwaku Matsusaka for event details.

Looking down from Matsusaka Castle's Ninomaru, where the wisteria trellis is located, you can see a view typical of "castle town Matsusaka" overlooking the castle guard's residence. When the wisteria is at its best, azaleas and fresh greenery adorn the beautiful stone walls, making it a gorgeous walk around the castle ruins that is only possible during this season.

I stop by while shopping at the "Farmers' Market" section. The most exciting time to visit is the spring rose season, when the roses are in gorgeous colors. The English-style gardens all look like photo spots. I end up spending a lot of time taking pictures and regretting my heavy luggage if I shop ahead of time.

Nakamura
Roses look great against the backdrop of the English garden, so it's fun to take pictures. During the rose season, there are many days when it is already early summer, so be sure to stop by the nearby Garden Cafe Rubel for a gelato! I recommend the milk flavor.

Nohara Park, Oki-cho / wisteria

mie_chunansei_haru_natsu_hana14

Visitors can enjoy double-flowered cherry blossoms from late March to early April and wisteria from late April to early May.

The park is also equipped with slides, jungle gyms, and other playground equipment, making it a great place for families to spend time together.

It is a wonderful park that delights the viewer not only with its flowers but also with the sunset view of the Miya River that flows nearby.

Nohara Park, wisteria (late April - early May)

mie_chunansei_haru_natsu_hana15 (1)

The 60-meter-long wisteria trellis is the highlight!

The azalea flowers are also at their best from late April to early May, so the light purple wisteria trellises and the glossy red and pink azaleas make the park gorgeous.

Every year on May 3, the "Tohsaku-san and Wisteria Festival" is held. *The festival was canceled in 2023.

It takes about 35 minutes by car from Sun-El near Matsusaka Station. It is surprisingly closer than you might imagine when you hear the name "Oki-cho. With playground equipment, a grass plaza, and a pavilion, it is a great place for families to relax and spend time together throughout the four seasons.

Aspia Tamaki, Tamaki Town / Lentils and sunflowers

mie_chunansei_haru_natsu_hana17

Aspia Tamaki is a complex facility consisting of "Furusato Aji Kobo Aguri," which sells local vegetables and Tamaki pork, and allows visitors to experience bread and sausage making, and "Fureai no Yakata," a one-day spa facility.

Next to Furusato Aji Kobo Aguri is a flower garden with seasonal flowers: lentils in spring, sunflowers in summer, cosmos in fall, and rape blossoms in winter.

Aspia Tamaki Lentils (mid-April to late April)

mie_chunansei_haru_natsu_hana18 (1)

The flower garden at Aspire Tamaki, famous for its "white swing."

In fact, it is also known for its lotus fields.

The lotus field, which covers an area of about five tennis courts, is like a pink carpet.

mie_chunansei_haru_natsu_hana19

The white swings, as well as the flower garden lined with lovely objects, make it seem like you are looking at a fairy tale world.

Last year, it was enjoyed until late May.

Photo spots, including a white swing, are available so that you can take social networking photos in the nostalgic lotus flower field. It is also recommended to buy locally produced foods at the "Furusato Aji Kobo Aguri" on the premises.

Aspire Tamaki Sunflowers (mid-July to early August)

mie_chunansei_haru_natsu_hana21

Sunflowers usually bloom from the end of June to mid-August.

The tall sunflowers hide the surrounding area, giving the illusion that the sunflowers go on forever.

mie_chunansei_haru_natsu_hana22

The atmosphere of the sunflowers changes depending on the projected sky, so visitors can enjoy the sunflowers at any time of the day.

I recommend the blue sky and sunflowers.

It is recommended for its summery and refreshing atmosphere.

For information on blooms and events, please visit Instagram (@tamaki_aguri8686), Facebook (tamaki.hurusatoajikoubouaguriThe information can be found in the following table.

The pathways around the sunflowers are so intricate and maze-like, with rest spots hidden by the sunflowers, that it is almost like exploring the area. During this season, shaved ice (especially Tamaki strawberries) from the takoyaki corner on the premises is highly recommended.

Shima City Shima City Tourist Farm / Nemophila and Sunflower

mie_chunansei_haru_natsu_hana24_processing

Shima City Tourist Farm: Nemophila (mid-April to early May)

mie_chunansei_haru_natsu_hana25

From this year, nemophila has become the main attraction instead of shiba-zakura.

Of course, there is also a lawn cherry blossom area!

The pink of the lawn cherry complements the blue of the nemophila, making it look even more beautiful.

The park will be open from April 8 to May 7, 2023.

The opening period may be shortened depending on blooming conditions, so please be sure to check before coming to the park.

mie_chunansei_haru_natsu_hana27 (1)

The nemophila spreading all over the area looks like a reflection of the sky.

We hope you will see it during the day when the weather is nice.

Camera setting points for photographing nemophila

  • If your phone camera has more than one lens, set the camera magnification to "wide angle" (the smallest number will take a wider picture)
  • If the camera is not equipped with multiple lenses, some models have an in-camera that takes a wider image when compared to the in-camera and out-camera. In such cases, you can try to take a picture with the in-camera. 0

This setting will change the atmosphere of the photo dramatically, so please give it a try.

Position points for photographing Nemophila

  • Nemophila fields are often located on slopes, and this slope is well utilized
  • Hold the camera up from the bottom of the slope and adjust the angle so that the sky is in the upper half of the image.
  • For low flowers like nemophila, position the camera much lower.

Both the nemophila and the sky are blue, so you will be able to take pictures that look like posters, filled with blue as far as the eye can see.

If you have an accent background, you can take a photo with the background low and close to the nemophilas to show the accent while keeping the nemophilas in the lower half of the image.

mie_chunansei_haru_natsu_hana26

nagai_icon

The Shima City Tourist Farm was originally famous for its lawn cherry blossoms. The white, pink, and red carpets have recently been joined by nemophila, and only here can you see the beauty of the patchwork of blue, pink, and white.

Shima City Tourist Farm Sunflowers (mid-July to early August)

mie_chunansei_haru_natsu_hana28

Last year, 2022, the park was scheduled to be open from July 15 to August 7, but due to sunflower conditions, it closed a little earlier, on August 3.

It changes depending on the blooming information, so please check Instagram (@shimacity_kankounouen) or,Mie Flower CalendarCheck it out.

Last year, approximately 70,000 sunflowers covered the entire area, attracting many visitors.

In addition to the large sunflowers, there are also lovely smaller varieties in bloom, and the ridges created by these sunflowers are so beautiful that they take your breath away.

mie_chunansei_haru_natsu_hana29

Last year, the sunflower field became the talk of the town with its "door to anywhere".

During the nemophila season, ``small roofs'' and ``telephone booths'' became a hot topic.

We are looking forward to seeing what photo spots will be available this year.

mie_chunansei_haru_natsu_hana31

mie_chunansei_haru_natsu_hana30

nagai_icon

The field of sunflowers spreading across the gentle slope is breathtaking! Unlike the colorful spring (nemophila and shiba-zakura) and fall (cosmos), the field of flowers, which are only yellow sunflowers, leaves a strong impression.

Nakamura
When you enter the farm and walk along the road, there are stairs leading up to a hill on your right. It would be picturesque to take a picture of the sunflower field together with visitors to the farm. There is also a pathway through the sunflower field, so you can take pictures as if you are buried in a sea of sunflowers.
